YOU ARE ELITE RUNNERS
All runners who competed in the ESAA Cross Country Nationals in Manchester can call themselves Elite runners. I say so because you have earned the right by coming in the top few in your County events.There are 12 million people in the UK under the age of 16.I do not know the size of the secondary school population but you can imagine there is likely to be over half a million people in your age group .How many did you race against this weekend ? Thats why I call you elite .So if you are a bit disapointed with your position just remember theres another day for elite runners.
