Sports Nutrition

Some of you may not be ready for this at present , we are all at different stages.However it doesnt hurt to be aware of how important good nutrition is to sport and indeed to life.Some of you may be involved in Sport Studies and may find this useful.Even if you only take a part of what is advised it all contributes to good health and potentially better performance when our understanding of these areas comes together.In the last decade youngsters growing up with sport have been made much more aware of the importance of Hydration , even if its only been in simple terms,resulting in better habits than when I was a kid.Powerade,Lucozade,gatorade and other such products are well known now and appear on supermarket shelves.Many young sports performers are now aware of the simple pee test , if its clear you are Hydrated if its yellow you are dehydrated and will not perform well and could go on to have headache etc.
