VISITORS TO THIS WEBSITE read this please
Since the week after the Mansfield relays I have had 65,571 pages visits.In January I had 1,098 different people visit this site most of whom will have been given the site by me or got it by word of mouth and I did get a link on race results , thanks for that.
I hope the pictures have been interesting to runners and their parents.I will not be able to retire on the number of pictures I sell;that is only half the purpose of the site,the other being to encourage /support runners like my son.To this end I intend to put on some interesting bits of news other than accounts of race meetings.500 visits to the news on the northerns at st helens makes me think its worth thinking about putting other atricles on.I do not know who the visitors are or where they art from.My first piece is a link to American research which claims how good running is for you.
I wondered if anyone else wonders when to run or not to run , who is it best to see if you have a minor injury or niggle,how do you find them?I once took my son to a Physio who was in the yellow pages but he tends to put most people in front of ultra sound and leave you for 15 mins collect £33 and book you in again for more.he also got a different diagnosis to someone else we subsequently saw .
Does anyone else struggle with diet and the busy lifestyle of workingfamilies who have more than one training three or four nights at different places?What and when do you eat ? its not easy and needs organising well or you end up in danger of not living up to potential.I do not have all the answers.However i,m not shy to ask so i,ll eventually find out.I,m hoping to find out more from people who have more knowledge than me.
