2012 Calender
My 2012 Runners Calender will be on sale shortly.Featuring a variety of Athletes from events I have visited over the last year , the pictures will bear relevance to the month. For example January is County Cross Country Championships followed by Regional Championships.February is dominated by The Nationals whilst the Summer months feature track events.
In addition there will be dates already known including Cross Country,6 and 12 stage Road,Major road races,NATYAL,NATIONAL JUNIOR LEAGUE,British Athletics League and some Olympic dates.
The format will be A4 that folds out to display as A3.I will sell it online and at races for £5 which I think is cheap enough for lots of people to buy.It will be in some shops and they may add on a little as you pay for the comfort of browsing and you can go anytime you want.Online sales will incur a postage charge.I am happy to visit training sessions around the Manchester area if groups are interested - contact me with best times.
I hope it will be of service to the running community as of yet i.ve never seen a calender that focuses on Athletics.I'm sure there is the interest in running by the huge numbers that turn out for the Manchester 10k , Great North run etc. This website has had 889,000 page visits since the day of the Inter Counties at Crofton park in march.Sadly I don't make much money.By the end of the year I may have enough to pay for the camera I bought three years ago and that includes all since 2008.
Running is a fantastic sport as it includes kids from u11 up to regular veterans in their sixties and a few beyond. It covers elite to those who just want to lose a little bit of weight and those dipping a toe in the water at events like parkrun.I'd be interested to hear opinions of the calender when its published.
